Delete Your CircuitNexus Account

This page explains how users of the CircuitNexus Android app can request deletion of their
account and associated personal data stored by our cloud services.
CircuitNexus offers optional sign-in with Google (OAuth). If you use guest mode only and never
sign in, no cloud account is created — uninstalling the app removes local data from your device.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Send an email from the same Google account address you use in the app.
- Use the subject line: CircuitNexus Account Deletion Request.
- In the message, ask us to delete your CircuitNexus account and cloud data.
- We will verify ownership and process your request within 30 days.

What We Delete
When your deletion request is approved, we delete or anonymize the following data linked to your account:
- Firebase Authentication profile (Google sign-in link)
- User document in Cloud Firestore (including server key)
- IoT device profiles, dashboards, widgets, and automation rules stored in the cloud
- Device presence and command metadata in Firebase Realtime Database tied to your account
- Push notification tokens associated with your account
What May Be Kept Temporarily
- Aggregated or de-identified analytics that cannot reasonably identify you
- Server security and audit logs retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention and legal compliance
- Data we are required to retain by law
Uninstalling the app alone does not delete a signed-in cloud account. You must submit a
deletion request using the steps above.
Before You Delete
- Export or back up any device configurations you still need.
- Delete individual devices from the app if you only want to remove specific hardware profiles.
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
